Is this legal advice? Will this make me compliant?
No, twice — and we're direct about it on purpose. TransparencyKit is software that generates well-structured documentation templates and checklists based on the published text of the EU AI Act and your answers about your business. It gets you organized fast and inexpensively — think 80% of the paperwork scaffolding for a fraction of consultant cost. It does not tell you what the law means for you, does not certify compliance, and doesn't replace a lawyer. For anything high-stakes, have qualified counsel review the output. That's also exactly what our Terms require.
What exactly do I get for $199?
The Article 50 Transparency Pack: a scope memo that hedges which Article 50 obligations appear to apply to your business, ready-to-use chatbot/AI disclosure language, and a content-marking-and-deepfake-labeling implementation checklist — delivered as HTML (with a Markdown copy), every page carrying our disclaimer footer. It's a documentation toolkit and self-service starting point, not a substitute for legal review.
What if it can't help my case?
If our system determines during processing that it can't generate a reliable Deliverable for your situation — for example, your answers describe an edge case the product doesn't cover — your order is cancelled and refunded in full, automatically, before delivery, and we email you explaining why. You never pay for a Deliverable we don't think we can responsibly produce.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you're not satisfied with a delivered report for any reason, email support@transparencykit.com within 14 days of delivery and we'll refund it in full — no forms, no argument. This satisfaction refund is available once per product type per customer; because Deliverables are digital documents delivered instantly, your license to a refunded Deliverable ends automatically on refund. Do you have a DPA?
Yes — a self-serve Data Processing Addendum covering the standard GDPR Article 28 elements is available on request and takes effect via click-accept in your account portal; the acceptance is logged with a timestamp and version hash. A countersigned copy is available if your procurement process requires one.
Is my data used to train AI?
Your intake responses are processed by Anthropic's API infrastructure to generate your Deliverables. That processing is configured for business use: your inputs are used to produce your outputs, not to build public models. See our Privacy Policy §3 for the full disclosure.
