Refund Policy

> DRAFT — FOR ATTORNEY REVIEW. This policy is deliberately generous: automatic refunds are the dispute-prevention layer for an automated service.
One-Time Reports (Transparency Packs, Technical Files)
Automatic refund — out of scope. If our system determines during processing that it cannot generate a reliable Deliverable for your situation (for example, your answers indicate an edge case our product doesn't cover), your order is automatically cancelled and refunded in full before delivery. You'll receive an email explaining that your case is outside what the product supports.
14-day satisfaction refund. If you're not satisfied with a delivered report for any reason, email support@transparencykit.com within 14 days of delivery and we'll refund it in full. No forms, no argument. Because Deliverables are digital documents delivered instantly, refunded reports may not be used, and your license to the refunded Deliverable ends automatically upon refund (see Terms of Service §11). The satisfaction refund is available once per product type per customer; beta-period refunds do not count against this limit. Bundles follow the 14-day satisfaction window for the full bundle price; after a bundle's included monitoring converts to monthly, standard subscription terms apply. We may decline refunds where usage patterns indicate abuse (for example, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles), at our reasonable discretion.
Input errors. If a Deliverable is wrong because intake answers were wrong, you may re-run the intake once at no charge instead of a refund — your choice.
Monitoring Subscription
Cancel anytime. Cancel online in your account portal or by emailing support@transparencykit.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We don't prorate partial periods.
First 14 days. New subscribers may request a full refund of their first payment within 14 days.
Missed digests. If we fail to deliver a paid monitoring digest for a full cycle, that month is refunded or credited automatically.
How Refunds Are Paid
Refunds go to the original payment method via Stripe, typically within 5–10 business days.
Before You Dispute a Charge
Please contact support@transparencykit.com first — under this policy, virtually every good-faith request is granted automatically, which is faster than a card dispute.
